This Policy forms part of our Terms of Sale. Our Privacy Notice applies to information you send us with a request. Nothing in this Policy removes rights you cannot lawfully waive.
1. Our approach
Every Ghoneeti song is a one-off, commissioned creative work made from your Brief. Making it takes real production work, and a generated musical performance cannot always be edited precisely without changing other parts of it.
So we distinguish objective errors and non-delivery, which we fix, from matters of creative taste, which do not by themselves make a song that matches your Brief defective. We review every request in good faith and in line with consumer-protection law.
2. What is included: one correction round
2.1. Every order includes one correction round at no extra charge. To use it, send us one list of all the eligible errors you have found, within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. One round can cover several errors.
2.2. Eligible errors, judged against the Brief you gave us at checkout, include:
- A required name spelled wrongly in the lyrics, or clearly mispronounced even though you gave the correct spelling and pronunciation guidance.
- A wrong pronoun, recipient, family relationship, couple’s names or other important relationship detail.
- A detail you marked as “must include” that is missing or materially wrong. Background details shared as inspiration do not qualify on their own.
- A file that is damaged, incomplete or will not play on a normal device; audio that does not match the lyrics; or a download or gift page that does not work because of our service.
- Any other material departure from your order that can be objectively checked.
2.3. We compare the song with the information we received at checkout, not with new details or memories sent after delivery. If the original Brief had a wrong spelling, unclear pronunciation or wrong detail, changing it may be new work, unless the law requires otherwise or we agree.
2.4. We may ask for a short voice note of a name, a phonetic spelling, a time in the song or a screenshot when reasonably needed. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information.
3. How we make corrections
3.1. We decide, using professional judgment and our production tools, whether to correct a lyric, remake a vocal passage, regenerate part or all of the song, replace it, or provide another suitable remedy. We cannot promise to change one detail while keeping the melody, vocal character, arrangement, tempo, instruments or mix exactly the same.
3.2. A regenerated song can sound noticeably different. We keep the essence of your Brief and the chosen style wherever we reasonably can, but an exact copy is not guaranteed.
3.3. One correction request is one round, and we may fix all listed errors in one revised song. A correction round is not a series of alternative versions to choose from.
3.4. If a correction still leaves a material objective defect, the matter is not closed simply because the included round was used. We will provide a further correction, a remake, a price reduction or a refund, as the circumstances and the law require.
3.5. We aim to acknowledge complete requests within two business days and will tell you the next step and an estimated time. If your song is for an event and we agreed to a date, tell us straight away.
4. Changes that are new work
These are normally new creative work rather than an included correction:
- A different genre, rhythm, style, tempo, instruments or mood after hearing the song.
- A different vocal character, or a particular artist’s voice (we may decline to imitate a real artist).
- A rewritten story, a different recipient, new names, memories, verses, people or occasions, or a different main message.
- A different melody because you prefer another one, or a copy of an existing recording.
- Alternative arrangements or several versions to choose from.
- Changing a correctly sung name or line because it sounds different from what you imagined, where it matches your instructions.
Where possible we may offer extra versions or revisions for a fee that we quote first. We never charge without your agreement.
5. Cancelling an order
5.1. To cancel, email support@ghoneeti.com straight away with your order reference. We record the time work on your song begins; payment and the start of production are not the same moment.
5.2. Before we start making your song: we will cancel your order and refund the full amount.
5.3. After we start making your song: because it is commissioned just for you, a change of mind, a change of gift plans or a preference for a different style does not automatically qualify for a refund. We may offer a partial refund or credit in exceptional cases. We never charge an additional cancellation fee, and this does not affect any right the law gives you.
5.4. After delivery: opening or downloading the song does not remove any right the law gives you for defects, non-conformity, cancellation or non-delivery. Disliking a song that matches your Brief is not by itself a defect. We assess each case against your Brief, this Policy and the law.
5.5. Customers with statutory cancellation rights: if the law where you live gives you a right to cancel a digital purchase within a set period, that right applies in full and is not removed by the fact that the song is personalized or that work has started.
6. Late or missing delivery
6.1. Standard delivery is within 48 hours of confirmed payment; priority delivery, when offered, is within 24 hours. If an interruption or other problem materially affects your order, we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can.
6.2. If you paid for priority delivery and we miss the priority time for reasons within our control, we will refund the priority fee and still deliver your song, unless you are entitled to more under the law or because of an event date we agreed.
6.3. If your song is not delivered, or is delivered materially later than promised, contact us. Depending on your rights and the effect of the delay, we will offer prompt delivery by an agreed time, a replacement, cancellation or a refund. A provider outage does not remove our obligations to you.
6.4. Download links and gift pages are available for 90 days after delivery; their expiry after that period is not a defect. We may help restore access where we can. If a link stops working within the 90 days because of our error, we will fix it.
7. Songs that don’t match your order
7.1. If the song materially fails to match your Brief (for example, the wrong recipient or occasion, a missing “must include” detail, or a serious technical fault), we will investigate and offer a fair remedy: a correction, replacement, price reduction or refund.
7.2. The right remedy depends on how serious the problem is, what can be done, timing, earlier attempts and the law where you live. We will not make you accept repeated unsuccessful replacements where the law entitles you to a different remedy.
7.3. Creative interpretation is part of songwriting, so a difference from your stylistic preference is not necessarily a defect. The specifications we agreed and our quality commitments still bind us.
8. Unauthorized payments and chargebacks
8.1. If a charge looks unauthorized, duplicated or wrong, contact us straight away and use your bank or card rights as needed. We will investigate promptly and cooperate with genuine disputes.
8.2. Where practical, please give us a chance to fix a problem before starting a chargeback; this is not a condition of your card or legal rights. We may respond to false claims of non-delivery or fraud with our order, delivery and correspondence records.
8.3. We may refuse future orders after proven fraud, abuse or threats, as the law allows. We never penalize customers for using their legitimate consumer rights.
9. How refunds are paid
9.1. Approved refunds are paid back to your original payment method where possible. How quickly the money appears depends partly on your bank and card issuer; we meet the refund deadlines set by law.
9.2. A refund covers the amount you paid for the order or the affected part, including applicable taxes. Exchange-rate changes or your bank’s own fees may affect the amount shown in your currency.
9.3. If an order is fully refunded because it was cancelled, the licence to use that song ends, except where the law gives you a continuing right.
10. How to make a request
Email support@ghoneeti.com with the subject “Correction / Refund: order [your reference]” and include:
- Your order reference and the email address you used at checkout.
- Whether you are asking for a correction, a cancellation, a technical fix or a refund.
- For corrections, one list of every issue and, where relevant, the instruction in your original Brief.
- Anything that helps us check, such as a time in the song, a pronunciation guide or a screenshot.
- Whether the song is for an upcoming event date we agreed.
We may ask you to confirm you are the buyer or authorized to act for them. We will tell you our decision and the reason, and escalate to legal@ghoneeti.com where appropriate.
11. Your other rights
This Policy should be read with our Terms of Sale and Privacy Notice. It does not limit statutory guarantees, digital-content remedies, cancellation rights, chargeback rights, protection against unfair terms or other mandatory consumer protections where you live. Where the law gives you better rights than this Policy, those rights apply.
